Junk! a cheap imitation!
no no no no do not buy this product it is a waste of money, it falls apart and is plastic. If you end up buying this product and later end up buying an ipod, you will sooo regret buying this cheap piece of plastic! BUY AN IPOD!!!!!! NOT THIS!!!!

waste of money
I bought this and even sent a e-mail on what color I wanted. The box was smashed so I thought that it was done for. But it was in one piece and cheaply made and the wrong color. The screen flickers and you have to shut it off to get it to change to the menu screen for anything. I admit I wanted something cheap but I didn't want it to fall apart either. So don't waste your money on it it's just not worth it.

Cute But Junk
This is supposed to be a 4GB player, and it shows up on my computer as 4 GB, yet it will hold only 1.5 GB before refusing to accept any more files, claiming "no room left on device". Also, the file browser for selecting media files is the absolute worst thing I have ever seen, it takes forever to locate a file. There is no playlist support of any kind, so unless you just want to hear all your mp3s (or 1.5 GB of them, anyway) with no control over the order they play in, it's a real hassle.

I cannot play videos on this either, as the included software for converting video to the required format (.amv) doesn't work. Naturally, I assumed since this is *called* an mp4 player, I would play mp4 files on it. Nope. It doesn't do that either. I was looking forward to the ebook capability, but again, this was a vain hope -- it reads only text files. If you have any good books in text file format, great, you're all set! Of course, no one does... Text files are pretty much never used for ebooks.

There are just two good things I can say about this player: It's cute, and the screen does a good job rendering photos with decent resolution and surprisingly good contrast. Unfortunately, I did not buy it to look at photos, but for playing music and video.
Well, at least it does actually play music, if rather inflexibly.

Next time I will buy a decent brand name player, maybe Phillips or Sandisk. This was my first and last no-name player. My little reminder that "you get what you pay for". But to not even get the 4 GB of storage advertised is pretty darn low.

Great Product
OK... First off this is a great product.

The GOOD:
-AMAZING picture/video quality
-FM quality is the best ive EVER seen
-recording is sensitive and accurate
-drag + drop files
-can be used as a flash drive
-shiny back is SO shiny that i use it for my makeup [jk im a guy ;-)]
-Games ar cool

The BAD:
-E-book is not even worthy of uttering
-THE PLAYER SCRATCHES TOOOOOOOOO EASY
-exiting and entering logo is stupid and ugly
-the music player visuals are tooo clutered
-cant put a memory card in it

BEST G00D:
-FM RADIO RECORDING

WORST BAD:
-SCRATCHES TOO EASY

if your tech savy go to www.mympxplayer.com and look for the Actions 9.x.x
-also THE VISUALS SUCK EGGS!!!!! I CANT TELL YOU ENOUGH HOW MUCH I WANTED TO STAB MY EYES AFTER I TURNED THIS ON

nice but wasn't what i was expecting
what really bothers me about this product is that the menu makes a loud click when you push on it. second it is hard to get from place to place with it. i always have to turn it off if i wanted to go to the games from music. also i was hoping there would be a scroll wheel like an ipod but it turns out there is none. which is the reason i bought this one. i saw other cheaper ones but i could tell you had to push buttons i still dont know what the middle button does. menu could be of better quality
the good things are the mp4 player has all the functions and looks of an ipod at a cheaper price. it can dock with ipod products which i like alot.and doesn't take long to figure out how to use it.(speaking of that they could make a better set of instructions)

Excellent, great sound, easy to use
We bought this to record our practice sessions but then we ended up taking it to a friend's show. The sound is very high quality and the interface with the computer easy to use - we think he'll be happy with his new "live CD." Also, the mic options (e.g. you can set to record only the 90' in front of the mic) allowed us to get the background clapping in between songs without much noise during the actual singing. WIth a 4GB SD we seem to have plenty of room. If you want to record and you don't absolutely need to separate each instrument track, this is a great way to go.

Handy Recorder
It was very easy to record and download to my computer. The accessories are extremely useful for a wide range of uses.
