They went right back
This was my second shot at Sony wireless headphones. I have considerable hearing loss and I use them watching while TV so I don't have to have the TV sound up too loud for other people around me.
The first set was one of the earlier models that were replaced once under warranty when they failed completely. The replacement for the first ones stopped working shortly after the warranty expired. In spite of that, I figured I would give Sony another try with the MDR-RF925RK.
They were no better than the previous model that I had --- in fact they were worse. They came up with a scheme of recharging by induction rather that by direct contacts --- and guess what? I doesn't work. The headphones never reached a full charge condition in the week that I had them.
They also suffered from the same problem as the original set I had. The were noisy and made popping and hissing sounds when you moved your head. In short they were completely useless unless you are willing to put up with a LOT of noise. I even went so far as to put an extension on the line feeding them so they were just a few feet away from me -- they were still noisy.
I sent them back and purchased the Sennheiser RS120 to take their place. Although I liked the fit and auto ON/OFF features of the Sonys, the Sennheiser RS120s are much better because of the lack of the extraneous noises that I got with the Sonys.
Sorry Sony - but you blew it on these headphones.

Well satisfied with the Sony wireless headphones
I have a hearing problem. Been using a more expensive (cost twice as much as the Sony) 900 MHz wireless headphones (Radioshack) for the last 8 years.
The Sony wireless are MUCH better! The range is outstanding. I have a large 2 level home, can walk all over the home without any static. Sound quality is very good wired direct to the HDTV. Love the auto switch and no cable to plug hookup to charge the batteries. Just set the headset on the stand... now that's neat! And the batteries will last longer than I care to use them. Great product for the cost, I should have had them before now.
Only one complaint... some times I hear a loud sharp click or crack. Some nights it never happens, some times it will happen 3 or 4 times in a row. Otherwise would have rated them a 5.

GREAT!
Its just fantastic!
the cuality of the sound is great and i can walk to other rooms with it without loosing that much sound.

v ery good--but not great
Overall, these are pretty good headphones. The sound quality is very good, and I've never listened to them long enough at one go to run the batteries down. The auto-on switch in the headband and the inductive charging on the base station mean that you never really have to worry about the batteries at all.
The downside is that the range isn't as great as specified (although I've yet to see a wireless product that manages the range the manufacturer claims), and in an office environment anyway, I get the occasional random click. Apparently, that click is the automatic squelch. It's a bit annoying that it doesn't just go silent, though. Also, the plastic parts where the headband connects to the earpieces tends to creak a bit.
Still, a pretty solid product, and comfortable enough to wear for at least a few hours at a time.

Defective Out of the Box
I own many Sony products, (HDTV, Audio Receiver, CD Carosels, Digital Cameras)
I was very disappointed with this product. The first unit was defective out of the box. The replacement unit was also defective. I returned both units for credit and would never buy another Sony headset again.
